Sponsoring Partner at Basildon Golf Course is a great way to celebrate our hosting of The PGA East Anglian Open Championship and the general revitalisation of the golf complex.
The first tournament, which is an official order of merit event for the PGA in England (East), was played on the 15th and 16th of September. This is a full strokeplay event for 36 holes with 18 holes being played on day one and 18 holes being played on day two.
Immediately following the event on we held a prestigious PGA Pro-Am. The leading players from the event making up the field together with a select number of additional golf professionals.
This historic golf tournament will be hosted at Basildon for the next five years at least. The event, together with the Pro-Am is the ideal way to cement the rebirth of Basildon Golf Course, as one of the finest venues for golf in Essex.
